About this species

A small, colorful minnow that swarms in clear Korean streams, the males flushing with vivid breeding colors in summer. It feeds on drifting insects and algae in riffles and runs. Tiny hooks with paste bait or small flies make it a fun, fast target for beginners and fly fishers.
