Red Seabream

About this species

A striking pink-red bream with blue speckles, celebrated in Korea and Japan as an auspicious, premium food fish. It patrols reefs and drop-offs, feeding on crustaceans, shellfish and small fish. Tai-rubber jigs, bottom bait rigs and drifted shrimp are effective offshore.
